Each ovoid ceramic jar with an all-over deep crimson glaze, surmounted by a painted and carved wood lid with a teardrop-shaped finial, 2 pieces

Each overall good condition with shelf wear, scattered minor scuffs, scratches, and inherent firing flaws commensurate with age. As well, each jar with chips to the interior rim of the opening. Each jar with kiln flaws and breaks to the foot. The interior of each jar is glazed white with breaks in the glaze surface inherent to the firing process. One lid with the finial detached and retained with the lot. No evidence of repairs or restorations under blacklight for each.
