Made in England, to include: "Troopers-11th Hussars," "Troopers-13th Light Dragoons" (box contains five soldiers rather than three), (2) two sets of "Troopers-17th Lancers," "Troopers-8th Hussars," "Casualties." Boxes contain (3) figures each with the exception of "13th Light Dragoons."
Each box approx. 2 x 13 in.
The Charge of the Light Brigade was a military action undertaken by the British light cavalry, riding fast horses, with sabres and lances, against Russian forces during the Battle of Balaclava, 1854, in the Crimean War resulting in heavy losses to British troops.
