A smaller version of the famous monument in Moscow of Yuri Dolgoruky.
The Sculptor CM. Orlov, is a Peoples Artist of the RSFSR. He worked in the field of monumental, monumental-decorative and easel sculpture. He created compositions and portraits in porcelain and ceramics. The sculpture "Yuri Dolgoruky" is a reduced copy of the monument made by S.M. Orlov together with A.P. Antropov and N.A. Strain and established in 1954 in Moscow.
Yuri Dolgoruky (1090-1157) - the great Kiev prince, the son of Vladimir Monomakh, the founder of Moscow. The figure of a horseman in the armor of an ancient Russian warrior, with a back and sword of the left thigh. With his left hand he holds the reins, the right one is extended forward in a pointing gesture. The inscription on the stand: "To the founder of Moscow - Yu. Dolgoruky ". The Kasli plant has been casting the sculpture since 1957.
