Fabricius and Kastholm prototype daybed by Preben Juhl Fabricius (Danish, 1931-1984) and Jorgen Kastholm (Danish, 1931-2007), manufactured by Poul Bachmann, Denmark, 1964, in oak with rectangular horizontal cross supports above wedge feet, with original natural cotton-covered textile mattress. 13.5" H x 77" W x 51" D. Provenance: From a Thad Hayes designed apartment featured in Architectural Digest, February, 2000; Wright Auction: Chicago, 11 December 2018, Important Design, lot 125.
