The American "Fern & Blackberry" pattern cast iron garden bench with ornate fern back, scroll pattern strapwork pierced seat and molded legs with fern'molded stretchers on each side. The "Fern & Blackberry" pattern was first seen in the Coalbrookdale firms catalog of 1875. Height 32 3/4" Width 51 1/2" Crack at center front of seat.
