Oil on canvas, signed lower right and lower left respectively "E. B. Herberte 1884"; "Steeple Chase" & "After The Hunt" Edward Benjamin Herberte a highly competent artist lived in Warwickshire and many of his hunting scenes feature the Warwickshire Hunt. In fine antique gilt carved frames. Sight size: 12" x 20" Frame: 16 1/2" x 24 1/2" Provenance: Mr. William C. Robinson Jr was master of foxhounds at the Sewickley Hunt Club and also was owner of the horse farms: "Far Away Farm" Sewickley PA and "Lanes End" in Versailles Kentucky. His wife Mary Laughlin Robinson was also an accomplished equestrian.
