Item Details

Description

After the original drawings and scuptures by Clodion for the faun and Louis Felix de La Rue for the girl. The gilded bronze figures of a girl sitting atop a rock and a young faun leaning on a stump. Each one carries two lights formed of branches decorated with leaves and seads, ending in bobeches and candlecups decorated with laurel leaves. The figures are set atop circular bases with ball formed trim. Height 14 1/2" Width 10"
