After James Abbott McNeil Whistler (American, 1834 - 1903), early 20th c. etching of Chelsea, signed in the printers plate with Butterfly monogram, lower right. Etching depicts the Chelsea church and Battersea bridge. Work is taped and matted. Good condition, with toning and foxing. Noted CHELSEA, Drawn and Etched By J. A. McNeil Whistler, New York Patterson & Neilson, (Publishers). 12.5" x 9.5" overall, 7.5" x 5.25" sight.
