Abstracted and yet also representational, dreamlike and surreal. Shows monsters. This work is tempera on board, and has framed dimensions of 26x18”, and visible painting dimensions of 21.5x13.5”. Good condition overall, but has some minor condition issues, most notable of which are some surface scratches and spots of flaking. We have done our best to picture both. This show was included in the 29th annual May Show at the Canton Art Institute. The first letter of the title of this piece, as written on it’s tag, is illeble. It reads ‘_ongo Politics’. We are not sure if the word was ‘Congo’, ‘Bongo’, or something else entirely, so we’ve simply titled this lot ‘Politics’. Comes with its beautiful and unusually shaped, original frame.
