Louis Jamme (American 1913-1949) "Some gentlemen from the excavation company around the corner/ They Thought they'd Like to watch YOU work for a change. " watercolor and gouache on board 11 x 13"-20 x 21" as framed. Jamme was a prominent cartoonist for The New Yorker, The Saturday Evening Post, Esquire, and Colliers. He attended the California School of Arts and Crafts in Oakland from 1928 to 1931.
