Description

Ontario. Pine. Very good two-drawer pine blanket box with a dovetailed case, applied bracket base and trim above the drawers. In original paint-grained surface imitating figured mahogany. The piece retains its original lock, hinges, oval brass escutcheons, and ebonized wooden pulls. 28.25" x 45.75" x 21". From the June and late David Chambers Collection.

Condition

There is wear on the trim under one drawer, a crack on the lid, and a missing till.
