Description
American. Maple, pine. Early 19th-century American two-drawer dressing mirror. The pine case is veneered with birdseye maple, the drawers with applied beading, and turned supports of tiger maple. The swing mirror retains its old varnish surface. 22.25" x 20.5" x 8.25". From the June and late David Chambers Collection.
Condition
There is a small veneer loss on one side of the case and two different turning patterns on the feet. A note inside states "Feet and another piece belonging to the shaving mirror made by Josiah Millikin".
