Penetanguishene, Simcoe County, Ontario. Pine. Early two-door small forged-nail cupboard from Simcoe County with a three-board back. Each door has two raised fielded panels set within a moulded frame, and a base with arched cutouts at the front and sides. There are beaded edges to the door frame and front corners of the case and the interior has two shelves. The cupboard is now painted in well-aged pale blue over earlier yellow and red paint layers. 47.25" x 47" x 19.75". From the June and late David Chambers Collection.
