Description
EXTREMELY RARE RUSSIAN SILVER MUG, TANKARD, 1833
A Russian silver mug with figural scenes, including Jewish depictions, around the bottom and in a medallion. It has a handle and a lid.
HALLMARKS: '84' for silver content, 'PM' in Latin for Moller Peter Andreas (1830-1838), St. Petersburg. Also initial 'MK' probably for silvermaster Mathias Kilpelainen, and '1833' for a year.
CONDITION: Very good condition for its age. The item is described to the best of our knowledge. For further information, please refer to the pictures and feel free to contact us via email with any questions. Age related wear with traces of gold inside, small dents and scratches.
DIMENSIONS: 6 x 5 1/4 x 3 3/4 inches (15 x 13 x 9.5 cm). Weight: 322 grams.
