Description
Christofle Art Deco silver plate tazza designed by Luc Lanel (French, 11893-1965), circa 1930, stamped "Christofle / 4 / 0" to underside, with circular shallow basin above four spheres encircling a columnar support on circular stepped foot. 4" H x 13.75" diameter. Note: This model was, by repute, designed for and used in the First Class suites of the S.S. Normandie. An identical model sold 16 October 2022, Goldfield Auction, Weiswampach, Luxembourg, lot 178.
