Mid 20th century Italy Italian hand carved wood wooden musical box. Depicts Schroeder the fictional character from the comic strip Peanuts created by Charles Schulz, playing his piano, under the watchful eye of Beethoven. The box when wound slowly spins around and plays the tune Leitmotiv Kaiserkonzert. Signed ~ stamped on the paper sticker on the underside. Inscribed in the wood reads United Features Indicate 1968 Made in Italy by Anri.
Dimensions: 5 X 4.5 X 4.5 in.
Condition: Good to fair overall condition having mild surface wear with minor paint losses to the checkerboard design. Estate fresh to the market.
