Thomas Glen McNickle (American, b. 1944), November Clouds watercolor on paper, 1987, earlier work of McNickle's and signed at lower right, retaining his gallery label to verso, attractively framed. Measuring approx 26" x 20" tall including the matte and frame. Thomas McNickle is a native and long-time resident of north-west Pennsylvania. The rural landscape of his surroundings and his Amish neighbors provide much of the inspiration for his work. He is a member of the American and National Watercolor Societies. McNickle's work has been exhibited in over fifty museum and gallery exhibitions including a mid-career retrospective at the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown, Ohio.
