Depicting a shoreline at low tide with fishermen checking the day's catch and repairing a boat. 20th-century giltwood and gesso frame, H 26.75", W 33.5". Provenance: Private collector, Bloomfield Hills, MI. Guarisco Gallery Ltd., Washington, DC.
Condition
Expertly cleaned and relined with remnants of varnish fluorescing under UV light. Stabilized craquelure with lines of inpainting.
