Description

A group of Cape May books from the Pennsylvania Railroad Library all stamped on the title page with the embossed library seal and with catalog call number stickers on the cover. The 1877 book for the West Jersey Railroad has a brown cover with gold lettering and shows general edge wear and discoloration at the top on both sides. The interior pages show discoloration from age and minor tears along the bottom. The 1878 book for the West Jersey Railroad has a blue cover with gold lettering and shows general edge wear and discoloration at the top and along the spine. The interior pages have separated from the cover and show minor discoloration, edge wear, and a few tears throughout. The interior of the cover shows writing marks. The 1883 book for the Pennsylvania Railroad is in a cardboard library folder and has been taped inside. The cover folder shows moderate water damage discoloration along the spine. The cover of the booklet shows writing marks, discoloration, and edge wear. The interior pages shows some staining, a few pages have separated from the binding, and the rear pages show rust stains from the staple, but the booklet appears to be complete.
