An original lithograph print published by Currier & Ives titled The Lightning Express Trains "Leaving the Junction". Below the image reads Del By F.F. Palmer on the left. Entered according to Act of Congress 1863 by Currier & Ives in the middle. Lith. of Currier & Ives on the right. New York Published by Currier & Ives, 152 Nassau Street at the bottom center. The visible print measures 13 3/8" x 9 1/2" inside a 21 1/2" x 17 1/2" matted frame that does not appear to be original. The print shows tape from mounting along the bottom sides. The mat shows some water staining at the top right and along the right side. The frame shows some scuffs and stains to the wood. See photos for best description.
