TLS, 1p, measuring 8" x 10.5", dated June 14, 1974, Washington, D.C. A letter from then-Senator Joe Biden addressed to one Jim Wiggins of Claremont, California, who has previously written asking for an autographed picture. Boldly signed at conclusion as "Joe Biden" in black felt tip pen, this letter comes in the midst of his second year as Senator, a position he would serve for over thirty five years. Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from JSA. Features expected creasing throughout, with area of isolated soiling at top middle. Else, a near fine example.

Joseph R. Biden (1942-) is the 46th and current President of the United States, who previously served as Vice President under Barack Obama. Early in his career, Biden was elected Senator of Delaware at the age of 29, although he reached the constitutionally required age of 30 before being sworn in. As of 2023, he was the 19th-longest-serving senator in U.S. history with a grand total of 36 years and 12 days.
