French Provincial Renaissance Style Carved Oak Armoire, c. 1880, the stepped crown over double three panel relief carved doors, with iron escutcheons and fiche hinges, over a large lower drawer, flanked by leaf carved pilasters, in a plinth base with block feet joined by a serpentine skirt, H.- 76 in., W.- 58 in., D.- 30 in.

There are cracks and losses around the dowel joints on the upper left and right sides of the frame stiles, and to the lower left and right stiles at the skirt. Side rails have shrinkage cracks. The top of the armoire is lacking a piece of one of its slats and the bracket for the inside shelf has been replaced. There is a ~ 3 in. wood patch repair to the edge/latch of the inside of the left door. Armoire is solid and structurally sound with good patina.
