A pictorial record of personal experiences by day and night in the great metropolis with hundreds and thrilling anecdotes and incidents drawn from the under world of New York" by Helen Campbell, published by The Hartford Publishing Company, 1898, 740pp. Brown stamped cloth with gilt title and decoration on spine and gilt title and decoration on cover. Book exhibits some wear and slight looseness to spine with some discoloration spots to cover. 2.) "Our Western Border: Its Life, Combats, Adventures, Forays, Massacres, Captivities, Scouts, Red Chiefs, Pioneer Women, One Hundred Years Ago" by Charles McKnight, published by J.C. McCurdy & Co., Philadelphia, 1876, 752pp. Brown stamped cloth with gilt title and black decoration on spine and gilt title and black decoration on cover. Book exhibits some wear including top nd bottom of spine, and slight looseness to spine previous owner's bookplate on interior cover. 3.) "The Assassination of President Lincoln and the Trial of the Conspirators" by Benn Pitman, published by Moore, Wilstach & Baldwin, Cincinnati, Ohio, 1865, 423pp. Book exhibits old rebind in heavy cloth. Interior exhibits some slight foxing. Cloth cover exhibits staining and discoloration. Book exhibits previous owner's bookplate on interior reverse of frontispiece. Sold WAF.
