Description
1726 Cosmogony 1ed Statu Mortuorum Thomas Burnet Death Resurrection Human Souls
Thomas Burnet was a 17th-century English theologian who had a special interest in cosmogony. This interest found its way into many of his works including his most famous work “Sacred Theory of the Earth” and his posthumously published book “On the State of the Dead and of Resurrection”. The latter was Burnet’s survey of the human soul, its substance, and its distinctness from the body itself. Burnet also describes the coming of Jesus and how his death and resurrection affects the human soul.
