Description
An Italian Art Nouveau style advertising lithograph art poster designed by Italian artist Plinio Codognato (1872-1950). Titled, "Dionis Gran Spumante," produced circa 1920. A colorful French language figural work advertising for an Italian spumante sparkling wine, sponsored by the Italian Wine Commission. Depicting a masked Pierrot figure (Italian: Arlecchino) offering up a glass full of delicious bubbly goodness. Artist signed in the plate to upper right CODOGNATO. Italian language printing details to upper left edge. Presented under glass with a black mat border in a colorful yellow metal gallery frame. Sight size measures approximately 18.25" x 12.65".

Condition: Good overall condition having mild age related surface wear. Frame with mild to moderate wear to edges and corners. Estate fresh to the market.
