Description

A vintage French designer serving tray by R & Y Augousti (Paris). Rectangular body in a striking and elegant Mid Century Modern design, handcrafted in exotic materials featuring lacquered and hand-dyed pen shell over a wood frame. A series of geometric circular and oblong pen shell inlays in black, brown, and tortoise. Fitted with open ebonized palm wood handles. Fabric lining to underside gilt stamped with designer monogram and R & Y AUGOUSTI PARIS MADE IN THE PHILIPPINES.

Dimensions: 2.25 X 23.65 X 13.65 in.

Condition: Good overall condition having age related surface wear and evidence of craquelure to penshell. Estate fresh to the market.
