BIOGRAPHY:
Adam Abraham is a multi-disciplinary artist born and raised in Southern California. Prior to his experience with ceramics, Adam worked full-time in a fine art custom frame shop while drawing and painting for gallery exhibitions. While studying art history at Moorpark College with intent to enter the field of art conservation and restoration, Adam took an intro to ceramics course as an elective and became completely obsessed with wheel-thrown pottery. It was there that he discovered and began working with crystalline glazes under the guidance of his professor, Gerry Zucca. Adam has spent the last two years devoting himself to wheel-thrown processes, studying the art of crystalline glazed ceramics and formulating crystalline glazes.
