Description
Meissen porcelain Armorial plate circa 1737-1741, a plate from the "Swan Service," one of the most famous services manufactured by Meissen in the 18th century. The service was decorated with the coat of arms of Count Brühl who was director of the Meissen factory at the time of manufacture. Modeled by Kändler and Eberlein, the plate features low relief swans and a crane amongst bull rushes as well as scattered flowers and gilt rim. 9"dia.
