Description
Roman Empire, late Imperial Period, ca. 4th to 5th century CE. A glass bracelet bangle stamped with lions in low relief walking to right, made from glass that was drawn and tooled, making a seamless band. The glass was probably semi-transparent and is now an opaque black from age. Size: 2.75" Diameter x 0.6" W (7 cm x 1.5 cm)
Provenance: ex-private East Coast, USA collection before 2012
