English Derby Porcelain Dessert Service, c.1820, from James Robinson Inc. New York, with original tag, hand painted with floral sprigs within faux marbre borders in green accented with gilding, numbered to the undersides 2311 in iron red, comprising;
18 Plates, 9 in. dia.
2 Oval dishes with handles, 12 in. l.
2 Square dishes, 11 in. dia.
2 Round Dishes, 10 in.dia.
A Pair of Sauce Tureens on stands, 8 in.h. x 7.5 in.w.
and a Center Bowl with Scroll Handles, 7.5 in. h. x 14 in.w.
Condition: 1 Sauce tureen with old professional restoration to cover handle, 1 round dish with hairline, 1 plate with hairlines and stain and hairline and stain to footrim, 4 plates with hairline and stains, generally with light crazing and wear to gilding and to the hand painted decoration from use and age.
