GERMAN SIGNED HAND-PAINTED PORCELAIN CABINET PLATES, LOT OF TWO, each having elaborate raised gilt-decorated border, comprising one example titled "Clementine" featuring a long-haired brunette with a leaf headband and wearing a bright polychrome vest, signed "N.C. Kiesel." to lower right, having four faux jewels to border, and one example featuring a well-dressed white-haired woman wearing a wide-brimmed red hat with feather plumes, signed "Schiefner." to lower right. Marks to underside include blue-printed crown with "RK / Dresden" and "GERMANY", an impressed crown and shield with "CM / HR", and various numerals and/or letters. Karl Richard Klemm (1852-1916), Dresden; Hutschenreuther Porcelain Factory, Bavaria, Germany. Late 19th/early 20th century. 9 1/2" D.
