FRENCH PORCELAIN HAND-PAINTED VASES, LOT OF TWO, comprising one cache pot example of oval-cylinder form, raised on four pointed ball feet, having molded handles, gilt decoration and highlights to molded features as well as framing the sizable polychrome painted decoration of a mysterious-looking couple standing next to a marble building, and one example of squat baluster/kidney shape, gilt-highlighted at rim and on vertical open handles, decorated both sides with painted depictions of red and yellow lilies over a green background. Cache example having green-printed "W. G. / & CO / FRANCE" mark and dated in gilt "March 2nd / '92" on base and remaining example having "J. P. / L / FRANCE" to underside. Late 19th/early 20th century. 8 1/4" HOA.
