Description
Stanford, Mark - Florida Artist Painting. Oil on Canvas Board - signed lower right. Executed in full palette knife. Standing at the waters, edge fresh catch in hand, a Seminole stops to survey the scene. Board measures 12x16 framed to overall size of 15x19. Mark began painting in 2004 with palette knife in oils. He was introduced to the Highwaymen art a couple of years prior and then A.E. Backus paintings. In 2011, Mark studied under Ahmed Eltemtamy, a listed Florida landscape artist. In 2016, Mark won the Annual Judges Choice Award with the Sebastian Art Club. Mark won 1st Place in the painting category at the Plantation Art Show of South Florida. *Backus Museum Fundraiser Item* Condition: Very Fine
