This is a fantastic c1900 Chinese panel with mirror. Rich red lacquer with hand painted scene with people performing various activities. Deep hand carving on inner frame with objects and people and gold giltwood. Additional deep carving on bottom of inner frame with people and animals, also gilt and more hand painted scenes of people accented in a lacy style paint. Back is black lacquer, overall approx measures?75.5" tall x 24" wide or approx 6 1/2 ft tall. Mirror was covered with paper to take a better photo.

Overall in excellent display condition. Wear to front surface paint from age, some lacquer loss on back, subtle wood shrinkage visble from back only and very subtle.
