Chinese Blue & White Porcelain Guanyin with a seated Buddha in her blue hair, standing on blue glazed Lotus and Waves and holding a vase of compassion, her robes with underglaze blue flowers; together with a Pair of Japanese Arita blue & white Plates decorated with Birds and Flowers, with scalloped outside edge and on a high foot with flowers, the recessed base with calligraphy inscription inside double rings all in underglaze blue. Height of Guanyin 11 3/4 inches (30 cm.).
