Description

An early brass top, double guard, Steam Gauge & Lantern Co. no. 6 model made in the New York Central pattern for the Grand Central Station. The lid reflector is nicely embossed "G.C. ST." The plug-in fount is correct for this model and has a no. 1 ratchet burner affixed. The 6" clear globe is embossed "G C S" in serif font, and "DIETZ 6 RR" at the top fitter. The lantern appears to have seen very little RR use. Condition: (Excellent). Dimensions: 6" x 6" x 10 - 1/2".
