Item Details
Description
SSP. Maker mark, "Imperial Enamel Co." A real nice single-sided, porcelain railroad station sign from Oneonta, NY, on the Delaware & Hudson mainline. This sign is a scarce “mileage-style” station sign, indicating Oneonta 60.88 mi. from Binghamton and 81.71 mi. from Albany on the D&H main line. CONDITION: Sign has fair color and gloss in the field, with pin point size porcelain chips throughout the entirety of the piece. Sign also has a handful of larger porcelain chips and staining in the field, as well as porcelain chips and staining along the outer edge.
