Chairs have been refinished and restored at some point in the past. Multiple signs of repair can be seen most prevalently to the shield backs, but also to legs. Some of these areas have broken again and need further repair. The back of one chair was broken more significantly than the others and shows a missing block of wood from an on-going repair. Light nicks and scratching from both before and after restoration exist throughout the frames and most abundantly towards feet. Upholstery shows scattered light staining and general wear.
