Thank you for purchasing one of our
unique pieces of jewelry. It is inlaid with
Ancient Roman Glass excavated in
archeological sites in the Holy Land.
The glass that we know as 'Roman Glass'
is blown glass dated from the 1st-5th
century CE. This is the formative period of
Christianity, 'the Cradle of Christianity'.
Archaeological excavations show us that in
the Holy Land in the first century CE, the
technique of glass-blowing was discovered.
The patina (the textured surface) is a
result of a chemical interaction of over
2000 years between the glass and the
mineral saturated soil.
