Description
Asian antique historical ding vessel with three legs, dragon motif and large handles. Measures approx 11" tall x 8" W. One of the legs has a partial crack. There are pin holes in the bottom. Note: The Ding is a ritual vessel primarily used for food that originates from ancient China. (From the direct descendants of Baynard & Mary Gibson Henry. Both were prominent figures and contributors in Philadelphia. Mary Gibson Henry was a notable botanist and her plant collections were the first in creation of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University in Philadelphia.)
