In overall very good condition. There are tiny losses to the lower corner edges , and a few tiny losses to the right edge. There is a small crease to the lower left. Painting was not examined under UV or out of frame. Painting comes from a reputable New Orleans collection. We are not aware of this work having an exhibition or literature history, as there is no catalogue raisonne on the artist and only 6 of her works are registered with the Smithsonian database of American Art.
