Mardi Gras Krewe of Rex, Parade Bulletin, "The Treasures of the King," 1909, lithographed by Walle & Co., presented in a wood frame, H.- 27 1/2 in., W.- 41 3/4 in., Framed- H.- 29 1/2 in., W.- 43 1/2 in. Provenance: Property from the Estate of Albert Cowdrey, New Orleans, Louisiana.
Condition
Condition consistent with age and use. The framed piece has creases in a 4 by 4 grid pattern from being folded. This is evidence of the time, as these prints were often distributed with newspapers. The central creases are most notable, with losses along these creases, notably in the middle center, center right, and upper center areas.
