These designs were originally created for the breakfast room in the Kaiser suite abroad the SS Kronprinzessin Cecilie ocean liner.

Fair to good overall condition with wear from age and use. Woven rattan elements are dry and slightly brittle and present with a few scattered scratches, some small stains, a few areas of discoloration, and several stable breaks continuing with age and use. Legs show some scattered scratches, several small chips, and some wear to finish. Frame of stool is broken in some places only visible from underside, and does not affect stability.
