This cushion on SIDE ONE has HOF'ers Joe DiMaggio, and Lou Boudrea in the center with RING 1 being signatures from uniform custodian, Wahoo Club, groundskeeper, gate attendant, public relations. club physician, traveling secretary, VP, Assistant Manager, RING 2 has 66 signatures including Alvis, Sully, Nettles, Hinton, Leon, Pinsch, Stark, Kaiser, Aspimonte, Lutz. OUTSIDE CORNERS has newspaper and media personalities including Hal Lebovitz. OTHER SIDE has signatures from 7 teams (Angels, Padres, Pilots, Athletics, Braves, Giants, Cubs) with a total of 129 signatures. Minch, Cleveland native and avid Tribe fan traveled for more than 20 years to the Cleveland Indians Spring Training in Arizona. He was given an American League pass by then Indians club president Gabe Paul to travel and see any game for free. Included with every lot from this auction and his estate is documentation and article from Hal Lebovitz, (longtime Plain Dealer Editorial writer) describing Mr. Minch?s life with the Tribe. He was a well loved and a respected feature at Hi Corbett Field, Winter home of the Cleveland Indians every year. He was loved by the Cleveland Indians, and garnered numerous autographed baseballs and home made cushions from several teams which are all featured in this auction, and have autographs of many Hall of Famer's as well as other players.
