The delicately flared, hand hammered bowl is over a naturalistic pedestal showing flowers & scrolled leaves, typical organic work for this silversmith. The whole rests on an oval stepped foot, makers mark inscribed underside. Designed for Jensen by Johan Rohde (1856-1935), bowl pattern #17B. Denmark, 1st quarter 20th century.
