MURASE JINZABURO OF NAGOYA
A Pair of Cloisonné-Enamel Rectangular Vases
Meiji era (1868-1912), early 20th century
Each vase worked in silver wire of varying gauge with an almost identical design, each depicting a profusion of summer and autumn flowers in bloom including maple, lilies, chrysanthemums, peonies, daffodils, and irises; each vase signed on the base Murase seizo. Each vase: 13cm (5 1/16in) high. (2).

Condition
Including but not limited to the following:
No signs of restoration when examined under UV light. Each vase with a cluster of light impact cracks on the neck, one vase more noticeable than the other, the longest measuring 2.5cm, extending on to the shoulder. Both vases with the neck and foot rims slightly tarnished. One vase with a tiny old dent along the neck rim.
