Dimensions: 17 cm. length, 17 mm. diameter.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of UNICEF, OMAS is making a series of 24 fountain pens with designs of famous personalities with only 300 for each signature made.
This is the design of Claudio Abbado who made his conducting debut in 1960. He has been musical director of the La Scala Opera in Milan and the Staatsoper in Vienna, and was appointed Generalmusikdirektor of Vienna in 1897.
Omas and Unicef's signage for children and their 50th Anniversary say he dedicated this pen to honour Claudio Abbado for his contributions to the arts and music.
