Early maroon box measures 5 1/4" by 1 3/4", retaining the majority of its original top label with an illustration of a Pepper 3hk minnow, showing glass eyes and reverse gill marks, as well as all of the popular Pepper sales slogans, but is not marked for a particular bait. The rarely seen 3hk minnow is finished in blended green to an aluminum belly, with reverse hand painted gill marks, good yellow glass eyes, and wire through construction, shiny Ex-. The very rare picture box is solid, with wear, some paper loss, staining and discoloration.
