size: 20 x 16 ; Biography from the Archives of ASKart:Peter Anthony deFeo is known for his great variety in subject, media and execution. A winner of first place awards from 1949 to the present Turning down a full scholarship after his first year at the Philadelphia College of Art, he entered the field of illustration. His works included a Top Secret 360-pagc report with drawings for President Eisenhower on the "Little John" space program. He worked for Frank Piasacki to bring to life many innovative flight systems. Joe Seigle, of QVC and Franklin Mint fame, was a client for the first matching business card, letterhead and envelope for ASI Company. Danna Kit gained the attention of Consumer's Report when dcFeo innovated the first 100% illustrated wired board. For Bill Kane he designed and executed the drawing of the first sea oil rig.At DeFeo Wireworks he designed and fabricated 60 four leaf clover designs that led the Ferko string band to first place. Back at college for the museum costume ball, he created the first place design. For Dupont, deFeo illustrated a new marquee. He freelanced for RCA, Thiacol, Chrysler Corporation. From William &. Markis to the corner printer, his drawings were in demand. His designs and illustrations for architects and builders led him into a career in the development field.He has taught, judged and is a supporting member for art schools and centers.
