Two Dayak Masks, hudoq Borneo/Kalimantan, Indonesia, early to mid 20th century Both of traditional form with projecting narrow chin, mouth with fangs, and large ears. Both painted in bright red, white and black curvilinear designs. One with circular mirrors inset at eyes, the other missing glass or mirrors at eyes. In fair condition, one missing the horn that would have been attached to its upper right ear and missing one fang. The other with burn marks on the proper left forehead and discolorations at the eye areas. Both with chips, scuffs, and lacking earrings.
